This page governs your use of aestheticmedicine.ie. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Buying is governed by a separate document, the terms and conditions of sale, which sets out payment, delivery, title, returns and who may buy.
This website is operated by NEEDS: registered company name, a private company limited by shares registered in Ireland, company number NEEDS: CRO number, registered office NEEDS: registered office address. VAT number NEEDS: VAT number.
Section 151 of the Companies Act 2014 requires an Irish company to publish these details on its website, which is why they also appear in the footer of every page.
NEEDS: decision: trade only, or open to the public
This section states plainly who the site and the catalogue are intended for, and what a visitor is confirming when they browse or register. It is written the moment that decision is made, and it is not something to guess at, because it changes what we owe every visitor under consumer law.
Product descriptions, ingredient lists, specifications and instructions on this site come from the manufacturer or from our supplier. We reproduce them in good faith and we correct them when we are told they are wrong.
Nothing on this site is clinical, medical or training advice. We do not tell anybody what to inject, into whom, in what quantity, or whether a product suits a particular patient. Those are decisions for a qualified practitioner working within their own scope of practice, insurance and professional obligations.
Where a product is a medical device, it carries the CE marking applied by its manufacturer under the relevant EU regulation. CE marking means the manufacturer has declared conformity with the applicable requirements. It is not an approval or an endorsement by us, and we describe products as CE marked, never as CE approved.
Cosmetic products in our range that fall within EU Regulation 1223/2009 are notified on the Cosmetic Products Notification Portal by the responsible person for that product.
Always read the manufacturer's instructions for use supplied with the product. Where you need a declaration of conformity, a batch number, an expiry date or a certificate, ask us and we will get it.
We try hard to keep prices, stock and images correct, and we cannot promise they are perfect at every moment.
How and when a contract is actually formed is set out in the terms and conditions of sale.
If you hold an account you are responsible for keeping your login details to yourself and for anything done through your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to it.
We may suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe it is being used in breach of these terms, where information given to us has turned out to be false, or where an eligibility condition on the terms of sale page is no longer met.
Please do not:
Reasonable, ordinary use of the site is fine. Automated systematic downloading of the catalogue is not, and we monitor for it.
The design of this site, its text, its layout, its photography, its structure and the Aesthetic Medicine name and mark belong to us or to our licensors, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law.
Brand names, logos and product images belonging to the manufacturers whose products we sell remain the property of those manufacturers. They appear here to identify the products we supply, and their appearance does not imply any partnership, endorsement or distribution agreement beyond what we state.
Where we link out, for example to a manufacturer's documentation or to a regulator, we do so because it is useful. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content, and a link is not an endorsement.
We do not promise the site will always be available or free of faults. We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of it for maintenance or for business reasons, normally with notice where we reasonably can.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Nothing in these terms affects a consumer's statutory rights.
Subject to that, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the site itself, as distinct from the products we sell you. Our responsibility for the products is set out in the terms and conditions of sale, which is where it belongs.
How we handle personal data is set out in the privacy policy. Cookies and similar technologies are covered by the cookie policy, and you can change your cookie choices at any time from the link in the footer.
We may update this page. The version in force is the one published here when you use the site, and the date it changed is shown at the top and the bottom of the page.
A change to these terms of use does not change the terms of a contract of sale already formed. Those are governed by the terms of sale in force when you placed that order.
These terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in another EU member state, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of your own country.
A summary of everything above, not the policy itself. The numbered sections are the ones that count.
We supply dermal fillers, biostimulators, threads, mesotherapy and related products intended for use by qualified practitioners. They are not for sale to the general public.
By continuing you confirm that you are a healthcare or aesthetic professional, that you hold the qualifications required to use these products, or that you operate a business in the field.
Product information on this site is intended for professional reference and is not medical advice.
