Xela Rederm 2.2% Redermalisation is a method that helps counteract skin ageing and rebuilds the skin. It acts on all three basic mechanisms of skin ageing: it regulates the biochemical and physiological processes in cells, effectively blocks free radicals through the action of succinic acid, and prevents skin dehydration through the action of hyaluronic acid. To carry out the redermalisation procedure, the Hyalual Institute created the Xela Rederm® line of injectable preparations. The distinctive feature of these preparations is a formula that uses the synergistic action of sodium succinate and hyaluronic acid.
Sodium Succinate
Activates cells and inhibits the processes leading to their death, stimulates the synthesis of the skin's key structural proteins, collagen and elastin, and increases the supply of oxygen to cells. The action of Sodium Succinate prevents skin ageing and regenerates the skin, which results in:
- improved skin texture and appearance
- greater elasticity and firmness
- removal of discolouration
- reduced depth and size of wrinkles
- nourished skin
Hyaluronic Acid prevents skin dehydration and moisturises it.
A course of Xela Rederm® treatment should consist of three procedures carried out every two weeks. To maintain the effect, repeat the course after 6-9 months, either one treatment per month or a further series of treatments.
