PBSerum Drain+ Hyaluronidase PB3000 is a preparation that, through hydrolysis, eliminates the effects of incorrect injection or allergic reactions following hyaluronic acid based fillers. The full breakdown and removal of hyaluronic acid from the body takes up to 3 weeks, while the first effects are visible within a few minutes. The enzyme can be used immediately after a hyaluronic acid injection or at another time, even several months after the filler procedure. As a result of the hyaluronidase injection, excess acid is hydrolysed, the skin at the injection site becomes smooth, and swelling is significantly reduced.
Hyaluronidase is also used in mesotherapy to break down bands of connective tissue that cause cellulite dimpling. It increases tissue permeability and helps other injected medicines spread and disperse.
Hyaluronidase can be used to speed up the initial action of anaesthesia or as support for rehydrating agents.
By promoting the melting of connective tissue, hyaluronidase allows the fat broken down by fat dissolving agents (PDC) to be released from the fat cell into the bloodstream and lymphatic system.
