MD-HIP (10x2ml) is a medical device containing type I tropocollagen and an excipient, calcium phosphate. The preparation provides mechanical support to the structures around the hip joint, aiding tissue regeneration after injury, age-related degenerative changes, UV exposure or environmental factors. Calcium phosphate, the main mineral component of bone tissue, has been added because degenerative disease of the hip joint is often accompanied by osteochondrosis or osteoporosis, its presence helps to slow the progression of these changes.
