Jovyal Hydra is a sterile, non-pyrogenic gel based on hyaluronic acid, intended for skin hydration and correction of superficial imperfections on the face and body. The product contains sodium hyaluronate at a concentration of 16 mg/ml, of non-animal origin, obtained through bacterial fermentation. Its physiological composition is gradually absorbed by the body.
Skin hydration and replenishment of the extracellular matrix
After injection into the dermis, the product replenishes the extracellular matrix and uses the hygroscopic properties of hyaluronic acid. This helps restore an optimal, physiological level of skin hydration. The formula was developed for hydration, correction of superficial imperfections and support of skin tissue repair processes.
Indications for scars and stretch marks
Jovyal Hydra is indicated in particular for scars caused by superficial skin injuries, including post-acne scars and chickenpox scars. The product is also used for stretch marks. Treatment results depend on the individual skin type and the nature of the changes, and outcomes are more favourable for less advanced defects.
Injection techniques
The manufacturer provides three injection techniques suited to the type of changes being corrected: the superficial linear technique, the micropapular technique and the linear-micropapular technique combining both approaches. The choice of technique is left to the person performing the procedure and depends on the nature of the imperfection. For precise application, the set includes needles sized 33G x 4 mm.
