How does the Hydra Roller work?
Using tiny needles, the Hydra Roller punctures the skin to create microscopic channels. These micro-injuries start and speed up the production of collagen and elastin, slowing skin ageing, and increase the penetration of nutrients you apply into the dermis. The device's main job is to remove dead skin cells and loosen the connections between them while stimulating the living layers of the skin. This increases blood flow in the skin and prompts fibroblasts to synthesise collagen and elastin. Each treatment gradually reduces scars. Even the smallest damage to the epidermis activates the self-renewal process. As we age, the skin's ability to renew itself declines, which you can see, for example, in wounds that heal more slowly. Regular microperforation of the epidermis is a safe way to stimulate skin regeneration, resulting in denser skin.
Before each treatment, cleanse and dry the skin. Gently unscrew the top of the vial and pour in the liquid cosmetic. Gently place and screw the needle top back onto the vial. You can then start rolling the skin about 10 times in each direction (right, left, up, down, diagonally). The whole treatment should last 3 to 10 minutes, depending on how intensively you roll. After the treatment, disinfect the derma roller with liquid or wash it under running water.
Even after the first treatment your skin will be visibly tighter and firmer. After an intensive course you will get firmer, younger-looking skin. The full result is visible after 24 hours. The number of treatments needed for maximum effect depends on the individual condition of your skin.
Treatments can be done after applying a numbing cream, according to how the client feels. Expect small droplet bleeding on the skin surface and scabs after the treatment. The treatment can be done with saline. Rollers should be used by one person only.
