Where a manufacturer states that a product is for professional use only, that is how we supply it. We may ask you to evidence your professional registration before we sell you a restricted product, and we keep a record that we checked.

Where a product is a medical device, it carries the CE marking applied by its manufacturer under the relevant EU regulation. CE marking means the manufacturer has declared conformity with the applicable requirements. It is not an approval or an endorsement by us, and we describe products as CE marked, never as CE approved.

Always read the manufacturer instructions for use supplied with the product. Where you need a declaration of conformity, a batch number, an expiry date or a certificate, ask us and we will get it.

A product safety or quality concern is urgent and is handled differently to an ordinary complaint. Stop using the product, keep the packaging and the batch number, and tell us the same day. Full detail is in our complaints and product safety policy.
