ENDO-PREP Cream Cerkamed is an endodontic preparation for the chemical and mechanical shaping of root canals. Thanks to carefully selected active ingredients, it effectively supports the removal of pulp, dentine and the smear layer, while making it easier to clear and shape canals during endodontic treatment inside the oral cavity.
Properties and action
EDTA (15%): present in the preparation, the disodium edetate binds calcium and magnesium ions, softening the outer dentine layer and making it easier to remove during canal preparation
Urea peroxide (10%): reacting with solutions such as sodium hypochlorite, releases active oxygen and produces foam, which significantly supports the mechanical cleaning of canals from pulp and dentine residue
Creamy consistency: the preparation has a thick, creamy formula, making application convenient and allowing precise introduction into the canal
Lubricating substances: ingredients that reduce friction make it easier to introduce endodontic instruments, reducing the risk of them jamming or breaking during work
