DIVES med. Art Grade EXTREME LIFT, Molding V-Lift COG Canulla are Korean threads intended for deep skin lifting in the areas of the face, bust, thighs, arms, front abdominal wall and buttocks. Thanks to the use of high-grade polydioxanone and the way the thread is wound onto the Molding V-lift Cog type cannula, DIVES threads enable revitalisation of selected areas. Their specific structure is characterised by high resistance to stretching and the greatest lifting strength.

How do PDO threads work?

Polydioxanone (PDO) is a synthetic fibre that, after some time, dissolves completely in the tissue. It has been used in the production of dermal and subcutaneous sutures, and has therefore been used in medicine for many years. The idea of using PDO threads in aesthetic procedures started in Korea and quickly gained popularity worldwide. The procedure involves inserting PDO threads under the skin (in selected areas) using a very thin needle. After insertion, the needle is removed and a dressing is applied to the skin. The treatment creates a kind of scaffold, around which the body begins the process of neocollagenesis (production of new collagen fibres), stimulation of fibroblasts to increased synthesis of elastin, and synthesis of endogenous hyaluronic acid. After the procedure, the skin becomes more supple, tightened and elastic.
