How does the Derma Roller work?
Using miniature needles, the Derma Roller punctures the skin, creating microscopic channels. These micro-injuries initiate and speed up the production of collagen and elastin, delaying skin ageing and increasing the penetration into the dermis of the nourishing substances we apply. The device's basic task is to remove dead skin and loosen the connections between its cells while stimulating the living layers of the skin. This leads to increased blood flow in the skin and stimulation of fibroblasts to synthesise collagen and elastin. Each successive treatment gradually reduces the depth of scars. All skin injuries, even the smallest, activate the self-renewal process. As we age, the skin's ability to self-renew decreases, which can be seen for example in wounds that heal more slowly. Regular micro-perforation of the skin is a safe way to stimulate skin regeneration, resulting in thicker skin.
Before each treatment, the skin should be cleansed and dried. Then you can start rolling the skin about 10 times in each direction (right, left, up, down, diagonally). The whole treatment should last from 3 to 10 minutes, depending on the intensity of rolling. To enhance the effects of the treatment, you can additionally apply an anti-wrinkle serum or another nourishing preparation. After the treatment, disinfect the derma roller with fluid or wash it under running water.
