Control of the bacteria responsible for plaque
Curaprox Perio Plus Support toothpaste contains 0.09% chlorhexidine digluconate, an ingredient used in oral hygiene to reduce the multiplication of bacteria responsible for plaque formation. It supports keeping the teeth, gums and lining of the mouth clean when daily hygiene needs extra support. The Citrox/P complex strengthens the antibacterial action of the formula and helps keep the active ingredients on the surface of the teeth, gums and lining of the mouth.
Support for the gums and lining of the mouth
Hyaluronic acid helps regulate the moisture level of the lining of the mouth and supports its regeneration processes. This ingredient is especially valued during periods of increased sensitivity of the gums and lining of the mouth, including after dental procedures. The VP/VA copolymer additionally forms a gentle protective film on the surface of the teeth and soft tissues.
Tooth protection and comfort of use
Sodium fluoride at 230 ppm helps protect the enamel while the toothpaste is used. Xylitol supports protection of the teeth, improves the taste and increases brushing comfort. The gel consistency leaves the mouth feeling clean and fresh.
SLS-free formula
The toothpaste contains no sodium lauryl sulfate, a common foaming agent used in many toothpastes. The absence of SLS matters with chlorhexidine products, because it helps preserve its proper action. For this reason the toothpaste foams less than classic products for daily brushing.
