Agatos "W" Chema is a slow-setting phosphate cement in powder and liquid form, intended for seating crowns, bridges and post-and-core inlays, as well as for temporary filling of cavities in milk teeth and filling root canals. The main component of the powder is zinc oxide, and of the liquid, phosphoric acid, which when mixed in the right proportions form basic zinc phosphate, giving a tight, durable and strong cement bond. The product has an extended setting time, which allows precise application and fitting of prosthetic elements.

Extended setting time for precise work

Agatos "W" stands out for its slow, extended setting time, giving the dentist greater comfort and control during the cementing of prosthetic restorations. The longer working time allows precise seating of crowns, bridges and inlays, accurate removal of excess cement, and optimal fit of the prosthetic elements to the preparation. This property is especially useful in complex multi-unit work and in situations requiring accurate positioning of restorations, reducing the stress linked to fast-setting material.

High strength and resistance to the oral environment

Once set, Agatos "W" cement has high compressive strength and good adhesion to tooth tissue, giving a stable and durable bond between prosthetic elements. The low shrinkage of the material minimises the risk of microgaps at the cement-tooth border, which supports a tight bond and long-term stability of the cementing. The cement is resistant to water, saliva and compounds found in food, which translates into durability in the oral environment and minimises the risk of loosening of the prosthetic restorations.

Versatile use, from prosthetics to endodontics

Agatos "W" is a universal solution for various dental procedures, from seating crowns, bridges and post-and-core inlays, through short-term protection of cavities in milk teeth, to filling root canals, especially when preparing a tooth for root apex resection. The cement gives a tight seal of the apical opening of the tooth root, ensuring a durable and safe filling. The product mixes easily, and the complete set contains a spoon for the powder and a dropper for the liquid, which makes it easier to dose the components in the right proportions.

Benefits
