Jovyal Premium is a filler based on cross-linked hyaluronic acid at a concentration of 25 mg/ml, intended for the correction of moderately deep and deep facial skin laxity, and for adding volume and definition to the lips. It comes as a sterile, non-pyrogenic gel with a physiological composition that is gradually absorbed. The hyaluronic acid is of non-animal origin, obtained through a bacterial fermentation process.
Replenishing the matrix and intradermal volume
The product is injected into the skin tissue to replenish the extracellular matrix and increase intradermal volume. Cross-linking the hyaluronic acid allows for a temporary lift in the volume of soft tissue in the chosen area. The formula is also used for skin depressions caused by wrinkles and scars.
A wide range of facial indications
Jovyal Premium is intended for correcting imperfections in the nasolabial folds, wrinkles around the mouth, glabellar frown lines and horizontal forehead lines. The product is also used for post-acne scars and other facial scars. A separate group of indications covers areas that need a temporary enrichment of soft tissue, such as the cheeks, chin, cheekbones and lips.
Work on the lips and lip contour
The 25 mg/ml concentration allows for building lip volume and defining the lip contour with a single universal product. This means the product works in the clinic for both facial volumising treatments and lip modelling. The results of the treatment depend on the skin type and the nature of the changes, and outcomes are more favourable for less advanced defects.
Compliance and kit contents
The product is an implantable medical device manufactured in accordance with Directive 93/42/EEC (MDD). The pack contains a sealed blister with a single-dose, factory-filled sterile syringe intended for single use, along with two needles. The kit also includes labels that allow product traceability in the patient's record, and an information leaflet.
