Sterilon 108W UV-C disinfection lampis a handy product intended for sterilization and disinfection of all types rooms (beauty salons, offices, apartments), equipment and surfaces. A high-class UV-C radiator guarantees a long service life – 8000 h, which with an approximate exposure time of 15 minutes gives us as many as 32,000 exposure sessions. The small dimensions of the device and the possibility of mounting it on a stand make it easy to transport and use, and the neutral white color will fit perfectly into any decor.

What is UV sterilization?

The sterilization lamp has a radiator emitting UV-C radiation, which eliminates all types of microorganisms, yeasts, molds and viruses. Just point the UV lamp directly at the surface to be disinfected for a certain period of time to effectively kill microorganisms. In order for the UV-C rays to cover as much surface as possible, place the lamp as close as possible. Objects placed in the shade that cannot be reached by UV-C rays will not be disinfected. After turning on the lamp, you can stay in the room, but outside the range of UV-C rays. Approximate exposure time is 15 minutes. After exposure, there is no need to ventilate the room. Please remember that the emitted light has a negative impact on all living organisms, so you should not stay within the irradiated area.

Lamp damage has a low risk of negatively affecting your health. If fluorescent lamps break, ventilate the room for 30 minutes and remove the parts, preferably wearing gloves. Place them in a sealed plastic bag and take them to your local waste disposal facility for recycling. Do not use a vacuum cleaner. – never look directly at the UV-C lamp or stay within the range of UV-C rays – special protective glasses are recommended. – protect the room with the working lamp against access by other people – very long exposure to a UV-C lamp may degrade some elements within its reach, e.g. plastics.
